Description:

The Power Agent is a powerful SNMP Adapter for UPS systems that do not currently support Ethernet connectivity but do have a serial communications interface. The product is specifically designed to provide network management and multiple open standards like HTTP, Telnet and SNMP. The Power Agent currently supports a number of Standard UPS Serial Protocols, and is designed to be adaptable to different proprietary protocols. The data structure and web interface is based on the UPS standard as defined in RFC 1628.

The Power Agent can be configured to work with our client shutdown software, Multenet PowerDown. PowerDown client shutdown software offers a timed shutdown and messaging service, and is available for a range of Operating Systems including Microsoft Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris and Novell Netware.

Description:

The Multenet Buffer is a low-cost, light-weight device server connecting an asynchronous serial device to Ethernet networks. The Multenet Buffer will buffer received serial data to non-volatile storage when no TCP connection is established. It will act as a standard serial-to-Ethernet converter when a TCP connection is established.

This product range includes the following hardware configurations:

- One RS232 serial to 10/100 Base-T Ethernet
